Hillary wants to and needs to keep the Democratic coalition intact, so no, there is absolutely no way she will ever pick a Republican for VP.

You started me wondering which is more likely, Clinton picking a Republican VP, or Trump picking a Democrat VP. An interesting question...

No, but it would be interesting. Maybe Hillary/Willard "low energy" Mitt as establishment candidates versus TRUMP/Bernard "feel the Bern" Sanders as outsiders.
