Probably.  I'm not a Barr guy and I don't want to go to war with Iran.  If Obama chooses Clinton I'll probably vote for the Pansexual Peace Party if they make the ballot in CA.  Why do you ask?

I really just support Bayh because he's my prediction and I think he's by far the best tactical choice for Obama's campaign.

IIRC, back in 1996, it was only in the last few days that Kemp's name was added to the mix.  There had been rumored short lists leaked to the media, and then a few days before the announcement, Kemp's name started getting dropped in there, and then suddenly he was the pick.  (But of course, that's not the same as the name being completely out of left field at the time the announcement is made.)  I'm pretty sure every other VP nominee going back to at least 1992 was a "finalist".
