Powell pretty much summed up my thoughts exactly.

im saying this as a (reluctant) obama voter, but powell sounded self serving, pompous and like an attention whore..in other words, normal colin powell.

im guessing bill weld has endorsed mccain?

Powell was disappointing, not so much for the McCain campaign but for him as a objective individual.  Man, why did I ever have any respect for this guy?

He threw his own friend under the bus.

You mean he actually put country first (TM)?

That he chose America over personal friendship?

i reckon lord colin put country first when he resigned from the joint chiefs of staff over  gays in the military.  OMG FAGZ IN DA FOX HOLE!!1

or did he put country first when he went up to the un and made the case for war with iraq.  of course now, he blames others for that (a constant in lord colin's career)

the moment obama ever becomes unpopular, lord colin will again put 'country first'
