If anyone has a better way to word this, I'm open for suggestions, but the basis of the bill is simple. My two home states, Utah, and Kansas, have two of the worst laws on this. Actually, I may introduce another amendment that privatizes the sale of alcohol.

Talley's is friendly, TNF's...I'm not sure on, so I'm going to say unfriendly so we can vote on it.

Tmth, that sounds like SAMHSA is going to be fined if they don't comply, but I don't think that's what you mean.

Can we just do the tribal issue as its own amendment to start off with?
Good point - I just caught that. I'm fine with breaking them off and doing separate amendments.

I don't see why alcohol would be treated any differently from the other drugs mentioned, but I'm not convinced we need to be dictating to municipalities on this issue in any case.
It is health reasons for me, though I would at least be OK with adding cigarettes and marijuana. Regardless, I plan to vote for this when it reaches a final vote, though I'm less than thrilled with what looks to be the final version.

For the sake of speeding things up (shocker, people still care about this), I am withdrawing my amendment.
