I'm not a Democrat, but Clark/Bayh would be my ideal Democratic ticket.

Don't you all worry that Clark's lack of experience in government combined with his mediocre showing in 2004 could result in a great GOP punching bag?

Yes I do.  I'd prefer him to run for AR governor first, and give it a while before trying again in 2012 or 2016.  People will have largely forgotten about his 2004 result, but it won't even matter by that point.

I forget the exact quote, but sometime during the 2004 primary Clark was asked, "How will you respond if someone questions your military experience and patriotism?"... Clark responded, "Ill beat the sh**t out of em'."  I love no bullsh**t politicians.

Yes, that quote entertained me a lot, too, but I'm not sure Mary Goodsuburban, her husband Joe Bluecollar, and their four children in Iowa would like that sort of thing.

Why do they have different last names?  Do they have Mormons in Iowa? Tongue

How old is he?  He may be losing the battle with old man age by 2016.

Clark is currently 60, so age would indeed become an issue if he ran in 2012 (aged 67) or 2016 (aged 71!!!).

Miller/Bayh

Two far-left socialists we can crush.

Ah ha!  We all thought you were serious about this 'far-left socialist' BS, but it turns out you were joking.  Fair enough, you fooled us all. Wink
