Thank you all! Thank you all very much. I always feel welcome at Miami-Dade College. This is a place that welcomes everyone with their hearts set on the future. Unfortunately, all of our futures are uncertain. The economy has gone in a downward spiral ever since our 44th President took office. His plans for economic relief have brought disaster upon amazing young Americans, like all of you.

Unlike the President and his cronies in Washington, I have fought every day for the people of Florida's needs, not my own. As your Governor, I had kept this economy in fantastic condition, now we're in a disaster that the president hasn't even tried to solve. During my tenure, we had increased educational progress to 11 points, that's sky high compared to what the President had proposed with his disastrous plans. This all shows that we here in Florida have been advancing far faster than anyone in Washington has even tried for America. I'm here to change all of that.

Today, I am announcing that I am a candidate for President of the United States!

It's time to restore America to the way it was. The examples set by my fellow Republicans have been trampled on by ineffective liberalism, big government has been running rampant through our capital for two long years now, Now we finally have the chance to do that! We need to go to Washington and bring back the small government and values we all so desire.

One of the worst parts of this election, the choice on the opposing side is taking shape. The party now in the White House is planning a no-suspense primary, for a no-change election. To hold onto power. To slog on with the same do-nothing, ineffective agenda under another name: That’s our opponents’ call to action this time around. That’s all they’ve got left, and I know that America deserves better.

This by no means will be an easy journey, we have a long seventeen-month road ahead of us, we will fight to the end for our lives, our liberty, our Constitution, and our United States of America! Thank you all, God bless you, and goodnight!

Hello, America.

We, here today, are a nation of millions of shared minds, of faiths, and of hearts. We are the single greatest political achievement in world history, the most successful experiment in democracy anyone has ever seen. Our influence stretches across far and wide, people all across this earth of ours look up to us, as a shining symbol of what democracy truly is. We are the United States of America, not any other America, not red or blue, not black or white, not young or old, but the United States, of America.

In recent years however, we have not been seeing the greatest of times. We have seen a massive financial crisis, with our citizens struggling to get by. We have seen wars, that never seem to end, with people waking up trying to figure out if their loved ones are still alive. We have seen the rise and fall of the power and control of our own government, one controlled by an administration built by corruption and false promises.

My name is Rudy Giuliani. I was the mayor of New York City for two full terms, bringing conservatism to one of the most liberal cities in the country. When mayor, we cracked down on crime, we cracked down on unemployment, and we helped restore integrity and safety to a city that at one point, desperately needed it.

I am running for president, not because of my ambitions, or the ambitions of my party, or any special interest. I am running, because our country needs new leadership, that puts it people first. There are many problems, but none are unfixable. We created the problems, and now we are going to fix them, together. Together, we are working to restore the promise of America, the American dream.
