My organization endorsed Evan Jenkins. Morrissey is a fat, boring, charisma-less candidate. I've thought Manchin would be the toughest red state Democrat incumbent to take down since I started caring about this.
That definitely appears to be true. Out of all the Romney state Democrats (a group which includes Heitkamp, Donnelly, Tester, and McCaskill), Manchin has consistently done the best in polling throughout the year, and appears to be the only one who will win by double digits next month. He might even get close to his 2012 percentage, and reach the mid or upper fifties, if this trend holds. It's ironic also, in that Manchin comes from the state that voted most heavily for Trump out of these.
