17% reporting in Boston, Markey leads by 37 points in the city. Surprising.

Yep.  But note that Markey is underperforming Warren in that 17%.  Shows Markey's margin of victory could very well be below Warren in 2012.

Well, it's Ed Markey. And it's an off year.

Yep, makes sense.  My point is the most predictions are for a Markey victory of double digits and it is clear Markey will perform below expectations.

I am impressed with how fast MA counts.  We are up to 61%.  NY state is really bad when it comes to speed of vote counting.

Gomez underperforms Brown '12 by 10 points in Provincetown.  Gay men are the most racist group in existence possibly including white Mississippians.  I'm not joking.

Didn't you hear the SCOTUS decision? Racism no longer exists.

78%, Markey 53.5-Gomez 46.1

Interesting note: Amesbury, MA was carried by Gomez by only one vote.

I spent a lot of time this summer to figure out where in Cape Cod to go for my family vacation.  The town I picked, Falmouth, seems to be the only larger towns in Cape Cod to go D.  All those town names look so familiar since I spent time a month ago researching them.

Looks like turnout is pretty low.  In 2010 over 2.2 million votes were cast.  This time it looks like half of that.

Yes, you are.

I can't think of any other groups of people I deal with on a semi-regular basis who will often, unprompted, start talking about how much they hate n[inks]ers.  One of said persons was (visibly) half-black himself!

I am surprised Gomez is doing so well in Worcester, I would have thought Plymouth would be his best county.

Well, you know, the two people from Quebec that I work with often talk about the n[inks]ers too. So yeah, pretty much everyone from Quebec are basically racist like white Mississippians.
