Trump is worse than Bush now.

Not even close anymore.

MAGA is over.

The normies will go to Hawley, the old true believers will die soon and the 10-15% remaining absolute nutsos can form their little People's Republic of Northern Idaho.

Also, all the talking heads on CNN calling this a literal "insurrection" will get what they're asking for.  If you go too far in demonizing these protesters/rioters, then you will invariably create the very demons you're supposedly petrified by.

The true enemy of the people.  100%

It's like you are deliberately trying to get on an FBI or Homeland Security watchlist with your last few posts in this thread.

He's the most noxious fascist on this forum. Sanchez is just a sh!tposter.

I’m so relieved that I didn’t give in to the temptations I had multiple times during the last year to vote for Trump .

He’s such a terrible human being , and I would have felt guilty  it for a long long time if I had done so , so I’m so relieved that I refused to vote for the guy

I disagree with you on almost everything but you absolutely love America. Respect.

"When protestors tried to take the Capitol"
hahahaha

It literally says the Capitol steps. Can you read?

Actually, you're from Alabama, so maybe not.

He's not actually from Alabama lmao, he's from Spain

Spain is a funny way to say Belarus.

Not only should all of these protestors be arrested and charged with sedition, but so should everyone who has promoted this movement on social media.
“Fascism for me but not for thee.”

BLM and ANTIFA are not traitorous, seditious or anti American.

These people are.

I'm completely embarrassed.  We need Christ so badly!

No, Christ worshipping is what got us this.  You people never learn.  Ever.

Stop. I guarantee Rev Warnock for example is a better person than 98% of atheists and I'm not even religious.

Anyone still wanna argue that Andrew F—King Jackson or something was a worse president?

I offer now as the time to make that claim.

Today is the day Trump became the worst president of all time.

After Trumpers' display of stupidity and violence today, coupled with Democrats calling Ralph Northam a murderer because he won't issue another lockdown, I think the whole government ought to just resign. Republicans and Democrats both.

Let the Socialists and the Libertarians take over. I'm sick of the major parties' garbage.

LMAO are you really both sidesing this because a few Democrats were mean to Northam about lockdowns? You really think that's equivalent to our generation's Beer Hall Putsch?

Your reputation as the board's biggest Karen is well earned.

Josh Hawley has never come across to me as a very intelligent person.

Really? He comes across to me as a very intelligent individual, whose actions and words are carefully calculated to pander to the Trump wing of the party in order to jumpstart his 2024 bid for the presidency.

Let's dispel with this notion that Hawley doesn't know what he's doing... etc

He's not dumb but he makes All Gore look like Obama charisma wise. I also doubt he could work Trump's 2016 magic with secular whites.

I was expecting the support for it to be way higher with Republicans to be honest considering polls have shown like 80% think the election was rigged.

IDK why 30% say they're patriots but only 10% say they're pro-democracy. So they're anti-democracy patriots?

"We're not a democracy we're a Republic" neckbeards, most likely.

This may not be the mood right now, but I do still feel some sympathy for the woman killed today and especially her family. QAnon is a predatory group that is targeted at people who are already not in a great place in their life or a great place mentally. I obviously don't support what she did today, but I really don't think we should be looking at her death as a "play stupid games, win stupid prizes" situation like we should Kelly Loeffler's life right now.

No sympathy for traitors.

AZ objection roll call:
https://clerk.house.gov/evs/2021/roll010.xml

Looks like a certain first Korean-American congresswoman didn't vote. I guess her colleagues were just too repulsed by her homophobia.

I though she was in quarantine.

So Perdue is not there today? I just realized he didn’t vote on the AZ objection. Is he off crying somewhere? He’s actually making Barbie look a lot better now.

Perdue is no longer a member of the senate.

Does Hawley realize that he is never going to be president. He got to know that right?

No, he really really thinks it's gonna happen even though he's unlikable, out of touch, and literally looks like a neanderthal.

Hawley is actually very intelligent with a strong Educational resume, and he has the youth and looks that are advantages. But after watching clips of him at rallies during his Senate Election- I have definitely thought he completely lacks the necessary charisma or ability to command a crowd needed to ever have a shot at getting the nomination.  (he lacks even an once of charisma (esp in front of a crowd or campaign rally).

His only remote possibility was being picked as someone's running mate... which now is likely off the table imo.  Haley's stock as a potential VP pick probably went up today (as she & Hawley may have competed for being picked as a runningmate for some potential nominees).

Youth and looks?  He literally looks like the missing link.

By rural missouri standards he's pretty handsome.

Rural people can look good too to be “average”. The dominant standards of the city ain’t all it.

It was more the combination of rural and missouri. Other places where the populace seemed to be below average in the looks department include Iowa, Houston and suburban Seattle.

The title of the thread says 4 dead- who are the other 3?

Morbidly obese Trumpers who had medical issues from what I've heard.

With all of the Videos (showing the people and their Trump Flags)- Its somewhat bewildering to hear some people on FOX suggest ANTIFA may be partially responsible for storming the capitol today.  The clip I saw when I flipped to see how they were covering it was prior VP nominee Sarah Palin (she said something of the sort).

Although she's a bit bizarre- one sentence would be totally crazy like the ANTIFA mention, then she would say a few things that sounded remotely reasonable, before going back to crazy talk.

Palin is a very unstable person.

I'd been anticipating her return to the national stage for awhile now, and this appears to be her moment.

One of the Republicans, can't tell who, wouldn't stop screaming during Lamb's speech and Pelosi kicked him out.
