Honestly he's not that bad of a candidate but I still hope he runs because it will be funny for him to get a 3rd statewide loss in 6 years (watch me have to eat my words in 2022 lol)

Whitmer is overrated as a national candidate for sure. She comes across as a stereotypical "elitist liberal"

Every politics junkie's weird obsession with constantly declaring anything related to trans people as an "elitist concern" is totally detached from reality. In the real world trans people are one of the most constantly disparaged and attacked groups in this country, and certainly far from being "elites."
