Forgive me if I'm not as optimistic are you about the LAPD
I didn't mean that to be positive about the LAPD, but only as a reference to the department's known propensity to use force.

If one thing is clear, despite much being opaque at this time (including who's actually running the country), the US Capitol Police were utterly and completely unprepared for what happened today.

He said that the commission (to investigate voter fraud) the objectors want to be created "definitely" won't happen after "what happened today" so there's no point in objecting.

It's not a "I was wrong, there was no voter fraud, this ridiculousness has gone too far", but I'll take it.

Yeah, I decided to edit my post to "medical emergency related". No doubt those deaths were related  to the chaos at the Capitol today.
