Seattle because Dems greatly outperform demographics whereas LA still has a lot of conservative white pockets and it votes more or less as you'd expect for a city of it's size and diversity.

LA was Biden + 55, and Seattle is Biden + 79, so Seattle, even without accounting for the fact that Seattle Democrats tend to be left-leaning

Seattle. As crazy as NTK was, it's really nothing short of a miracle that a Republican actually holds citywide office.

Seattle is more left-wing, though I wouldn't necessarily call it more liberal.

Maybe I should have asked narrowed Los Angeles a bit since it’s so big. Is Seattle still more liberal than  just ” West LA”?

Seattle Republicans have to ally and often tactical vote for nationally establishment democrats on a local level to lock out the Nu-SocDems—Socialist Alternative, Wa Peoples party, Greens, DSA— and vice versa. Even outside the very latter group, Seattle is home to numerous socialist parties with heavy local presence that don’t give tactical support that much to the Nu-SocDems—Torch Network, Freedom Socialist party, IWW, Anti-revisionist organizations, and so many more—that arguably makes it one of the most left wing places in the country. The Twin cities, Portlandia, and Chicagoland are arguably next on that list in that order. Arguably this is why unionization and class struggle in these areas are so high, why they rank amongst the best cities in the country, and why Democratic politicians cannot renegade as much on their progressive platform planks unless they want to face a risky primary/GE loss.

A better word then must be more progressive instead of liberal, although not out of want but of pressure. It’s incredibly based really.

Seattle does have an elected Republican in a city wide office unlike Los Angeles Tongue

Yes, it is. West LA has extremely liberal pockets, but it isn't on par with Seattle, and some traditional 'Hollywood elite' areas (like Beverly Hills) are surprisingly still quite right-leaning.

FYI Beverly hills is surprisingly right leaning less due to weird Hollywood celebrities and more because of the fact that a large amount of its population is Iranian Jews who as far as I understand are not super religious but are still pretty conservative for reasons similar to Cubans/Vietnamese except replace communism with Islamism. You can see the voting pattern of said Jews on King Points New York which is a highly educated/highly wealthy town on the north shore of Nassau county yet it remains deep red.

Good point, if you look at the Great Neck area as a whole, more northern sections of Great Neck such as Kings Point have a larger Iranian Jewish population and is quite Republican.  Areas further south in Great Neck are also fairly Jewish, but is much less Iranian and quite Democratic (granted southern portions of Great Neck also has a large Asian population)
