And regional elections are usually boring.

That said, a Council of Governors, consisting of all 5 Governors, could do wonders if given some power.

A council of governors to make mischief, and increase tension between the regions and the Fed seems to have some promise. A structure to make it work, and increase lawsuits, etc, needs to have some thought.
