From the recent Canadian election where the liberal party has had 2 candidates in safe seats withdraw due to sexual assault allegations that preceded their nomination to the numerous lunatic who often run for state legislative offices in the united states and lunatic who get selected and often elected as MP's in the UK it seem there's almost no vetting for political party canidates.

What makes it so hard to vet people before they run for a party ?

Your average Party HQ is underfunded and understaffed and largely employs people who view their jobs as a stepping stone to something actually important and who certainly aren't paid well or granted sufficient job security to re-assess that view. Your average local party is run by a small group of pensioners who probably need assistance to turn a laptop on, let alone run even a basic search.
What's stopping parties recruiting unpaid/lowly paid teenagers with tech skills and ideological devotion to do that instead?
