It's a great and progressive move, TV licenses are a regressive tax on the poor that often subsidize content for which there is little demand or public interest.

We literally had this happen before, did the wave of rioting in the aftermath of the murder of George Floyd achieve anything in the US?

Why would the result be any different here ?
