It was one of my family's regular after Sunday night church places to eat when I was a kid*.  Never liked roast beef, but they had a ballin' salad bar and great fries with those ketchup dispensers you filled the little white cups and that's by far the best way to eat fries.  Arby's is better 'cause they got curly fries and Jamoca (sp?) shakes.  Oh, and Chord On Blues.


*other favorites included:Wendys, Steak and Shake, several different "buffet" style places that were regional and are long gone, occasionally we'd got to the St.Louis areas only nice and proper Mexican place, Casa Gailardo.

I assume that is what "chitlins" are.   Intestines maybe?
