Being a "President for all Americans" was Trump's very first promise after he won the election, and it allayed the fears of some liberals who were concerned that he would only govern to appease his core red meat base.  Do you think he is fulfilling his promise, based on his actions so far?  If not, do you think he will change?

No, and that's not up for debate. He's extremely divisive and always will be.

Nope. This is a big mistake for a guy who won only 46% of the vote end last the popular vote; he'll need some liberals to agree with his agenda to ensure his successor doesn't dismantle his legacy. Curiously enough Obama made the same decisions after the Congressional Republicans took power and here we are with Trump.

His actions, with the exception of pulling the US out of the TPP, appeal to the hard-right base that voted for him in the general and/or the primary.

To me, he's making zero attempt to govern for all Americans.

Question erroneously presupposes that Pussygrabber is acting like any sort of president to begin with. He is not. Instead he whines and rants and issues dictates like the petty tyrant he is.

The only way he'll end up as "a President for all Americans" is after he disfranchises or murders 60% of the country and declares himself President for Life over what's left.

Not often you see a poll that close to unanimity.

Write in: Yes, "real Americans" are unified behind him.

Trump barely cares about the people that DID  vote for him. Anyone who voted against him can die in a fire for all he cares.

He's a "majority of a majority" leader.  If you are not in 'his' majority, you are $crewed.

He's not so great with just being President, let alone the other part that's been impossible to even attempt since 1994 [besides the 9/11- "Mission Accomplished" spot anyway].

W, for all of his many many faults, I don't think had hate in his heart for any section of people in America.

Reagan, and kind of, Clinton. In the context they won broad majorities from the electorate and were considered more than just a Democratic or Republican president. There wasn't a region in the country they weren't competitive in (Clinton less than Reagan but still).

W. is when partisan identity began to really subsume everything else and Americans began to self sort and divide into factional loyalties.

This is why Kasich or Sanders each would've been particularly formidable had they been nominees. They were seen as more than a party label.

That's one way of saying that neither of them would have been the least popular candidate (in the history of modern polling) that their party nominated.

Except for the gays and his insistence that they were seeking to destroy the "sanctity of marriage."

To the OP: what is your definition of all Americans because, as someone else has already mentioned, "real" Americans (i.e. white working-class Anglo-Saxon Protestant Christian heterosexuals who live in rural areas) are the only ones who "matter" to Trump and so yeah, I'd say that his cult is fully behind him. (I say "matter" because he really doesn't give a flying foock about them.) All those "others" are just out to continue the destruction of America that Obama started and that Hillary would have finished!!!1 They're the ones who are really standing in the way of #MAGA!

I have to say YES.

Although he will be unpopular, once Trump gets some changes made, it will be a move which will assist all Americans.

Supported by a majority of Americans, not just the snowflakes who are 35dB louder than your average citizen, people voted Trump in because they were simply sick of the incumbents being politically correct at the expense of running an effective country.

The only question is "How long will Trump last?".
