Come on, people, North Dakota is solid McCain.

The polls indicate either lean McCain or toss-up (I forget and am not going to look up which it is). The weight of history says solid McCain. Obama is organized here. The national trends look quite bad for McCain and worse in the northern Plains. Hence, lean McCain.

It just him doing his "People won't vote for a black" schtick.

Not that ND is that much of a racist state (at least against blacks)...
