Kirk Douglas looked shockingly old.  I think some of the ladies may have missed the point of the black dresses.  (or perhaps I'm missing the point?)

I watched it, mainly for the pop cultural zeitgeist stuff, but also because this awards season is such a mess that even the Golden freaking Globes provided a shred of clarity as to which movies/studios are running the best campaigns.

(The smart money is on Three Billboards, but it's still an open race.)
