Is Arlen Specter a Moderate Hero?

The only other time I've seen him call for the primarying of someone else was a snarky less-than-serious comment/threat about Jim Cooper when he was unnecessarily trashing Pelosi.  He pretty much just pointed out that his district is +6D (Oregon and Pennsylvania, for comparison, are +3D).

Someone with the last name of "Cooper" in Nashville is not going to be afraid of or cow-tow to some bloggers sitting in their pajamas in their parent's basement.
