Lou Dobbs and Ben Nelson, or Dick Lamm and Frosty Wooldridge.

Option 4:  Gag

Of the three, I would choke and vote McCain (not McCaine), and hope that he becomes too sick in his first term and Jeb takes over.  Dobbs on the other hand should pull his head out of his ___ so he can put his foot in his mouth.  Wink

Of those options I would take Dobbs because he takes no crap and has a hard line record of telling it is on immigration. I especially liked his comments on the political correctness of the situation. He said that the latino population is not monolithic and we need to stop watering down our words and policies to accomodate them. Good episode.

My dream ticket however would be...

 Rudy Giuliani/Ron Paul

I don't exactly like any of these tickets.

Where's Mark Warner? Angry

Lou Dobbs an Ben Nelson are my favorite, but the other tickets I added are one's I would never support, just hypothetical poll options. My ideal democratic ticket would be Mark Warner with Ben Nelson or Robert Byrd. My ideal GOP ticket would be Tom Tancredo and Ron Paul.

So, uh, what makes this an "ideal 2008 ticket" if you would never support them?

I like Dobbs a lot, but I would likely vote for Clinton.

John McCain and Jeb Bush.

Of these choices, McCain is the only one I would have confidence in as a President with enough experience and political abilities who could handle well, for example, an international crisis.
