This is only from Charleston County, which is the more liberal part of the district. The conservative part, Berkley County has 0% in and has 18 precincts.

Wrong. Trump won the Charleston county of HD-99 more than the Berkeley part. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1frfN-xEqzSd4X6nih2tSxCgqxZBRoHgHbCrGdDWCroM/edit#gid=1303007036

From dkos for the lazy. The Charleston County portion of this district voted to the right of the Berkley County portion in 2016.

Welp, looks like the R declared victory: https://twitter.com/MaryCaitlinByrd/status/953438776302465026

on to Wisconsin and Iowa.

They're claiming Mace won 55-45, a margin underperformance of 13 points compared to Trump. Boatwright had 1/6 the money of her, too.

Edit: Looks like there was a bad count in Charleston Mount Pleasant 26 precinct, where Boatwright won 134-0.

Where on earth are you getting that? I have not seen disaggregated precinct data anywhere.

Berkley County results:

Nancy Mace (REP) 1,432 61.22

Strange results out of Berkley.

Mace is OUTPERFORMING Trump in Berkeley while underperforming him by 28 points in Charleston!

Bizarre!

Maybe some home county effects? That wouldn’t be too unusual with a 12% turnout

These are very unusual results. Still going to be a Democratic swing, but nothing groundbreaking. Definitely a bizarre turn after seeing the Charleston results.

Yep, quick research shows she's from (and lives in) Berkeley county.

"September 18, 2017 – Daniel Island, S.C. – Today, Daniel Island mother and businesswoman, Nancy Mace, announced her candidacy for the South Carolina State House (District 99). Mace has been a resident of Daniel Island for more than five years. Prior to that she was raised in Berkeley County, in the city of Goose Creek."

People need to keep in mind that these are crazy uber low turnout special elections, and frankly, it is quite arguably that this is an entirely different electorate than 2016.

Trump won the Bekerly portion by 22, Mace is leading by 23... so not a huge overperformance

Was that a Clinton town?
Trump won the Town of Menomonie 911 to 730. Looking like a big swing toward the Democrat.
