Berkley county Delegate Larry Faircloth is already in for the Rs.

Goodwin would probably be the best candidate for the Ds, IMO.

I think Goodwin is the best option to go against Capito in the Senate race, he'd at least be better than Rahall.

Is Rahall still seriously thinking about running?  If so, mot only would Democrats lose his House seat, but in a statewide race, he would probably run no better than even in WV-03 and not carry a single county outside of that district.

Nick Casey (D) has nearly $500K raised, with $420K on hand.

This is looking like it is going to be a race.

Awesome, if he can win it, it's a free(ish) House seat for Dems at the cost of a Senate seat everyone knows is going to be nigh-impossible to keep anyway. Every bit helps.

WV-02 is probably, ironically, the best district in the state for Democrats these days.
