The idea that the most diverse, educated, urbanized, and queer generation in history was ever going to lean conservative was always ludicrous.

The thing that always bothered me is how hard-line GOP'ers always had issues with "colleges" and our "professors." Almost as if they wanted our electorate to stay uneducated and ignorant.
What kind of party would favor keeping the citizens of this nation away from higher education and diversity?
Such a party is sad indeed.

Y'all do realize that being nonwhite and college educated doesn't mean they'll become Democrats, right? None of those things alone suggest they wouldn't be conservative.

You're right, race and education aren't predictors of political affiliation in the US.
