It's crazy that there have only been four presidential impeachments in American history, and a lot of us here have lived through three of them.
Not all of us are dinosaurs who were alive in the 90’s.

According to McCaskill this is the highest amount of same party votes ever in an impeachment

There were 5 Democratic House members who voted to impeach Clinton, while 0 Democrats voted to impeach Johnson, and 0 Republicans for Trump's prior impeachment. Romney last time was the only same party in the Senate.

Rice is really weird because two day ago he said he didn't support impeachment.

https://www.wbtw.com/news/politics/rep-rice-says-he-does-not-support-trump-impeachment/

What happened to make him change his mind?

So Washington's 7-3 D congressional delegation voted 9-1 for impeachment, with only Cathy McMorris Rodgers voting against. Love my state!

According to NYT, Dan Crenshaw, Michelle Steel, Kay Granger, Greg Murphy, and Daniel Webster

I think you're misreading the NYT chart. Those are the five that abstained from the 25th Amendment vote. If my tab is updated, they haven't put in any impeachment votes yet.

This is the rightful thing to do but as of now there aren't 17 Rs to remove him from office

I was less than a year old when Bill Clinton was impeached, but I obviously have very distinct memories of Trump's impeachments.

Every single person who voted against impeachment should be expelled.

Thanks for the very concerned Susan Collins act, Mace.

Mace's game here makes no sense. She could easily lose in 2022. Honestly her whole "it was really bad but we're not gonna impeach bc Democrats" schtick made things even worse

Am I right in thinking that a delayed senate trial makes it less likely he'll be removed?

If we have to wait a week I'll expect we'll see more and more republican senators come straight out say they're not going to convict.

Maybe he learned the lesson that all he has to do is tell his doubters that his yes vote is just the lying fake news media trying to sow division among Republicans, point to his statements against impeachment, and he can vote however he wants.

The Senate GOP is very different from the House GOP, as was demonstrated during the electoral college certification last week. So, who knows.

So much impeaching, we're sick and tired of impeachments.

It's still shameful 197 GOPers were cowards although most of them know better.

In a move that's both symbolic, and petty in a way I can get behind, Pelosi is going to give her impeachment address from the podium that was stolen during the Capitol riots:

This needed to happen. Cede nothing to insurrectionists. Make everybody who stood up to Trump's corruption whole again.

Katko and Valadao were the only Biden District Republicans to vote for impeachment, as Kim, Van Duyne, Steel, Garcia, Fitzpatrick, Bacon, and Salazar all voted against. I'm shocked about Valadao's vote, and I'm shocked about Gonzalez and Rice. At least the number of Republicans voting for impeachment broke the double digits.

What just concerns me, though, is that this may overshadow the first weeks of Biden's presidency. The new admin must focus on other stuff.

Wonder what Trump’s gonna tweet about this.

THE WITCH HUNT NEVER ENDS! 10 WEAK Republicans, who are TRAITORS, must be thrown out of office and taken care of for impeaching your favorite president, most successful in history. LANDSLIDE ELECTION WAS STOLEN!

If impeachment gets 232 votes, it will match Trump's 232 electoral votes in 2020. A landslide victory, folks!

It hit 232, 4 Rs didn't vote.

Which four did not vote?
