I keep thinking we have to be close to all counted…NE-1 was 61K for GOP and 54K for Dem and MN-1 was 60K GOP and 55K Dem…We have passed those numbers here

It’s probably close to being mostly all reported but a call may be delayed until all absentees are counted.

We might be in recount territory. Upstate New York's (evidently very bad) courts might get involved. It's not impossible. But Molinaro is not getting a clear win.

This is going to be the most in-party-friendly midterm in a generation.

Same old story here as in MN-01 and NE-01.

GOP did a bit better on the margins in their areas but the turnout in blue areas was just simply much better.

What's the recount territory? We're at Ryan +2.6 right now and given what is now out with remaining E-day but also absentees, I don't see it falling below Ryan+1

The recount territory is in the depressed, pessimistic part of my brain that's always managing expectations.

Dobbs bump deniers be like "must've been the wind"

In all seriousness, I am so darn happy. For the first time this cycle I am thinking the House could be in play.

NYT percentage in keeps ticking down. Down to 88%.

Its fairly Simple:

Rensselaer: 56/56 precincts
Columbia: 62/62 precincts
Dutchess: 120/120 precincts
Greene: 52/52 precincts
Sullivan: 68/68 precincts
Delaware: 55/55 precincts
Schoharie: Says All Precincts (does not say number)
Montgomery: 1/1? (probably like above)
Broome: 1/1 precinct
Otsego: Now 50/50 precincts

Ulster: 157/164 Precincts

Any percentages left showing on NYT/DDHQ/other sites are estimations of unprocessed early/absentees.

This is over.

VICTORY!!!

Holy crap yall. I really was not expecting this at the start of the day, was hoping for maybe like a 5 point loss.

I don't know what November holds, but things right now look more competitive for overall House control than I had been assuming.

Also looks like NY-23 will still end up as some type of swing from 2020.

NYT has it at 77% in with R+5.2, so I don't imagine the R will end up bigger than Trump's +11 by the end.
