When McConnell took office in 1985 there were 37,000 coal miners in KY.  When Obama took office in 2009, there were 19,000.  As of 3Q 2015 there were 9,356.  By 2020 there will fewer than 5,000 with EKY pretty much down to nothing.  McConnell will have completed God's work and retire.
