For June, it's "somewhat approve" for me, mostly because Obama's analytical and non-interventionist style of handling the Iran-crisis, while pushing for Universal Health Care and strenghtening gay rights (if only a bit).

Slightly approve.

I'm quite upset with Obama's handling of the automobile industry...and I'm kind of pissed at the "Cash for Clunkers" program that Obama wants to sign.

I approve very strongly of his foreign policy, however.

Strongly disapprove. The Iranian situation moved me down from somewhat disapprove. This guy just seems very weak on foreign policy.

This is the month that GM declared bankruptcy. So, it's not going to move from strongly disapprove.

He is very weird, when it comes to homosexual issues. I'm not happy with the halfway approach to things. He shouldn't be appeasing to as many voters as possible. Do the right thing, not the popular thing. I couldn't even venture a guess if he were personally pro-gay marriage or not. What he did so far seemed to be very token like to the pro-gay crowd.

Strongly approve of this president. He's a rationalist on foreign policy and a pragmatist on domestic policy. Doing what is right and not necessarily popular like GM

Well ... the president appears, right now, to be finding himself stuck between a rock, in that he draws plenty of conservative, and Republican ire, and a hard place, in that he is drawing some liberal, and Democratic, angst

At this point, I don't think many libertarians are too happy, either.

He's hit foreign policy on the nose, which is impressive given the fact that the homeland is falling apart.

Somewhat Approve.

Yeah, he broke its' nose and it's hemorrhaging. Kim Jong mentally Ill and Holocaust Denier now view us as a paper tiger (which is actually a factual belief).

While the respect for the US has gone up in the sane countries since Bush Jr. left the WH.

Their absurd leaders certainly not. But what about the people ? Maybe many still hate you, but many also still see the US in a more favorable light.

With "sane" I actually meant Europe, Canada, Australia, hell there was even an Argentina poll out which had the US in a 70-10 favorable light, considering that Bush had 20% approval there at some point. Certainly those numbers will go down too, but many people around here like the fact of a rational, non-interventionist Obama, who's trying to steer the US out of it's domestic mess, instead of playing the world cop like the maniac Texan before him.

I remain at Somewhat Disapprove. I'm trying to be patient with him, but I've seen no results from his stimulus plan, and he is looking weak on foreign policy. If nothing happens soon, I'm moving him down to Strongly Disapprove.

I don't know what I personally did to them for them to hate me... Smiley

Strongly approve, I guess. I certainly strongly approve of his handling of the Iran situation (which is the most important thing happening right now). Health care, not so much but we'll see what happens.

Strongly disapprove. The Iranian situation moved me down from somewhat disapprove. This guy just seems very weak on foreign policy.

What would you suggest he do? Pehaps he should just parachute into Tehran with a couple of machine guns and take on the paramilitaries himself, hmm?

My suggestion probably wouldn't be very popular, but this is a perfect opportunity to remove the mullahs from power and install a democracy there.

Strongly approve, of course, given the alternatives.
