Both of these California governors said they would have run for President in 2016 if there wasn't a certain obstacle. For Brown, it was age. He said if he was 10 years younger, he would have definitely run a fourth time. For Schwarzenegger, he said he would have run if he was born in the US.

So, what if these were both non issues. The 68 year old Brown and American-born Schwarzenegger both run and receive their respective party's nominations. Who wins?

My guess:

Schwarzenegger/Scott: 49.6% PV, 289 EV
Brown/Warner: 47.3% PV, 249 EV

CO, NM, and VA would go to Ahhnold.  He's a moderate Republican and a decent fit for those states.  Of course, NM and VA would be more Democratic than the national average, but still.

For Schwarzenegger, consider the following:
-He left California in fiscal tatters
-He has been accused of sexual assault and misconduct on multiple occasions
-He's a liberal Republican who would have difficulty winning the primary
-He's been off the scene for quite awhile
-He had an extramarital affair that resulted in a child
-He has been a strong proponent of climate change legislation (unpopular with R rank and file)
