You can't hold two offices at once, as per the constitution. It also used to be that people attacked you and got mad at you for running in two simultaneous elections, but noone's tried that in a while. There is of course nothing against standing for election to something while your term for something else isn't up. When elected president, Verin would vacate the Midwest Ilikeverinship.

Yes, I'm aware.  It's not updated every day (because I generally suspect few people actually pay attention to it)... more like once every week or two.  It's about due for an update, I realize...
