My PA House Delegation

Phil English
Bill Goodling
George Gekas

(Here is where it starts making sense...kind of)
Joe Pitts
Melissa Hart
Bill Clinger
Pat Toomey
Robert Walker
Don Sherwood
Bud Shuster
Jon Fox
John Peterson
Joe McDade
Curt Weldon
Todd Platts
Tom Martin
Jim Greenwood
Jim Gerlach
Tim Murphy
Frank Mascara
Ron Klink
Tim Holden
John Murtha
Mike Doyle
Bob Borksi
Paul Kanjorski
Bill Coyne
Bob Brady
Chaka Fattah
Joe Hoeffel

My opinion: There is no way English, Goodling and Gekas are my top three. Also, I had no idea who Bill Clinger was. I looked him up and his ACU ratings are in the mid 60s. Best part was they had Clinger between Hart and Toomey. Makes no sense...

I am more of a match with Gerlach than Greenwood and I think I am less like Fattah than Hoeffel.

They really overestimate Stevens' conservatism and underestimate Santorum's.

Exactly. Whatever conservativism Stevens has they blow it up. Many Republican that took part in this has Stevens listed somewhere. I've only seen Santorum listed once and I know there are members closer to Santorum than Stevens.

Best Matches (5)
1. Thad Cochran (not quite me; I guess we're both American nationalists)
2. Chuck Grassley (PBrunsel is a better match)
3. Ted Stevens (my best social issues match; economically too pork barrel for my tastes)
4. Mike DeWine (my best economic match; socially way too liberal)
5. Kay Hutchinson (not me; she's pro-abortion)

Worst Matches (5)
Paul Wellstone (deceased), Russ Feingold, Herself, Chris Dodd, Carl Levin, Pat Leahy.

All in all, modern Senators not really reflective of my interests.

Out of academic curiousity, which Senator am I?
You are a VERY moderate Tory who likes Thatcher so I'd say Lincoln Chafee R-RI.

I THOUGHT that I would be Chafee, Specter, McCain or Bayh. Then I took the test and the result was surprising.

My 10 best matches of the 100 Senate incumbents:

1.  Judd Gregg
Republican Jr Senator (NH)

2. John Breaux
Democratic Sr Senator (LA)

3. Orrin Hatch
Republican Sr Senator (UT)

4. Arlen Specter
Republican Sr Senator (PA)

5. Olympia Snowe
Republican Sr Senator (ME)

6. John Cornyn
Republican Jr Senator (TX)

7. Joseph Lieberman
Democratic Jr Senator (CT)

8.  Elizabeth Dole
Republican Jr Senator (NC)

9. Tom Carper
Democratic Jr Senator (DE)

10. John Ensign
Republican Jr Senator (NV)

7 Republicans and 3 moderate Democrats.

My 10 WORST matches of the 100 Senate incumbents

1. Bill Nelson
Democratic Jr Senator (FL)

2. Chris Dodd
Democratic Sr Senator (CT)

3. Maria Cantwell
Democratic Jr Senator (WA)

4. John Edwards
Democratic Jr Senator (NC)

5. Charles Schumer
Democratic Sr Senator (NY)

6. Richard Durbin
Democratic Sr Senator (IL)

7. Ted Kennedy
Democratic Sr Senator (MA)

8. Jack Reed
Democratic Sr Senator (RI)

9. Barbara Boxer
Democratic Jr Senator (CA)
Total 20%

10. Jon Corzine
Democratic Jr Senator (NJ)

This is the first time when an American political test fits my right wing position here in Finland.

Many of us were surprised. These political quizzes are inaccurate. King's results showed McCain as his second closest match (a centrist) with Jim Bunning (one of the most conservative members of the Senate) as his third closest match. It doesn't make sense.

The test shows positions roughly. Personally I think my result fits my views well. I'm happy with it!

Then why did it surprise you? I guess you're just used to having ridiculous results? (In my opinion, these results are just as bad as others.)

I am more of a match with Gerlach than Greenwood and I think I am less like Fattah than Hoeffel.

Yeah, I would agree with that.  In fact, I would think I was with Greenwood MUCH moreso on social issues than I was with non-Philly metro conservative Democrats like Holden or Murtha.  Fattah was a bit of a surprise for me.  On other tests Hoeffel comes out much better for me, practically to near perfection.  Reading over the positions of our Congressmen, I am more to the right of Brady and Fattah on economic issues, which is about Joe Hoeffel.  Am i ever surprised Toomey wasn't on top for you or on bottom for me.
