I doubt Zell Miller had any effect, since he doesn't agree with the party on a single issue, any "Democrat" who likes him also doesn't agree with the party on anything, is a total DINO, and probably didn't vote for Gore or any Democrat since the 80's (if even that) either.

Trust me.  I know this coming from the area I do, there are plenty of people who vote Democrat who wouldn't agree with much the Democratic Party has to say today.  When the pull the lever, they think they are voting for the Democratic Party of 40 years ago.

Are there ANY Senators like me? I really don't think any of them really match me. However, representative Jim Ryun (R-KS) is pretty close.

There are some very strange voting patterns in the "T" actually... I've not checked this years results, but in 2002 a suprising number of Democratic state reps were elected in the NW part.

They don't agree with the Democrats on anything? Not even economic issues and unions, etc.? Zell Miller's voting record for the past couple years has been 100% conservative, he doesn't vote with the party on anything.

Mine were pretty strange, I think reflecting also my centrist preferences. Just two senators scored > 50!

1) John Edwards - NC (D) - 53% (69% social)
2) Lincoln Chafee - RI (R) - 50% (58% economic)
3) Lamar Alexander - TN (R) - 45% (58% economic)
4) Dianne Feinstein - CA (D) - 45% (69% social)
5) Bob Graham - FL (D) - 45%
6) Jim Jeffords - VT (I) - 45%
7) Joe LIeberman - CT (D) - 45% (69% social)
Cool Harry Reid - NV (D) -  45%
9) Jeff Bingaman - NM (D) - 43%
10) Mark Dayton - MN (D) - 43%

10 worst:

10) Rick Santorum - PA (R) - 30%
9)  Debbie Stabenow - MI (D) - 28%
Cool  Orrin Hatch - UT (R) - 28%
7)  Jim Bunning - KY (R) - 28%
6)  Kit Bond - MO (R) - 28%
5)  Bob Smith - NH (R) - 28%
4) Russ Feingold - WI (D) - 28%
3) Pete Domenici - NM (R) - 28%
2) Richard Durbin - IL (D) - 25%
1) Arlen Specter - PA (R) - 23%

I have 2 Republicans and 1 independent in my top 10 and I have 3 Democrats in my worst 10. It was a surprise for me that the lowest ranking was Arlen Specter, since I like the guy.
Nobody really agrees with my on Economics.. maybe if Phil Gramm were still around he would be close to 100% to me on those issues.
