I hope Rockefeller doesn't win again.

Governor Reagan.

I hope Rockefeller doesn't win again.

I know. If it's Rockefeller v. RFK V. Wallace, I'm going to have to hold my nose & vote for Rockefeller yet again.

Two answers here.  With hindsight...Rockefeller.

Without, I probably still want vengance for how Kennedy and his cronies shafted Nixon in 60.

For the purposes of the poll:

Dick's the one!

Nixon but Reagan would obviously be a very close second. I wouldn't go with him because of his inexperience in 1968.

Mayor John Lindsay (R)

Governor Rockefeller lost his mojo by his run for the White House in 1968, thus I wouldn't have supported Rockefeller in 1968 but I would have been left with another liberal Republican to vote for: Mayor Lindsay of New York Cheesy

Whilst I probably would have voted for former Vice President Richard Nixon in the RL 1968 Republican Primaries for the sake of this poll I would have went with the liberal Mayor of New York City: John Lindsay. Hard to believe that people considered Mayor Lindsay a serious contender for the 1972 Democratic Nomination. If only he continued his momentum after the Arizona Caucus.....
