What a joke, even with this map if LA County is high 50’s it’s a Newsom win. I don’t see Santa Barbara voting yes.

Feinstein's health might play a part in the recall.

Larry Elder as governor would drive up Democratic turnout in 2022.

Probably not. If anything, having a Republican as governor of one of the most liberal states will increase Republican energy and enthusiasm in 2022.

A lot of these GOP predictions need to be preserved in some form so they aren't edited after the election occurs.

I mean, if it meant her lasting through a hypothetical 15 months of Larry Elder, I’ll take it.

OC granted DiFi the gift of immortality, and progressives wept.

One summer night, OC appeared above the senior US Senator from California and stated, "death is not inevitable," and His word echoed throughout the universe. The sun would shine on Feinstein once again.

They're already saying this.  They unironically think Youngkin is a strong candidate.

I said if Dianne Feinstein was worried about her health she would of retired in 2020 when she was asked to before the recall when Newsom replaced Harris

She wanted to stay on to mentor Padilla

We have Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi all around the same age as Feinstein

I don’t believe that the recall succeeds, but Woodbury is correct that SoCal is extremely hostile to Newsom.

Very much so.  He's currently only winning Los Angeles by 1 million raw votes.

I just feel like "SoCal hates Newsom" was more wishful thinking from Republicans than anything else. Like maybe they were hoping that if they repeated it enough, it would come true.

It may have been half true but we'll never know because Republicans didn't run a serious candidate. To use an inverse comparison, if Rachel Maddow had been the Democratic nominee in the 2019 Kentucky gubernatorial election, Bevin would've won by 30%, but that wouldn't mean he was popular.

That seems to be how they cope with most things they don't like. That's essentially what the Big Lie is. How many times have they actively tried to will that into existence? Or another example: the Hunter Biden Ukraine "scandal."

Yes.  It's just a variation of their narrative that "latinos are trending Republican" and "they're finding patterns in the data."  Meanwhile the actual trend line for the GOP has been: lose California, lose New Mexico, lose Colorado, lose Nevada, and lastly lose Arizona (2020 edition).
