The Clinton impeachment didn't keep Bush from winning, so I don't expect an Obama impeachment in the second term would keep Trump from winning. Of course, if Republicans tried to impeach Obama in his first term (post-2010 obviously), he would have won re-election by a stronger margin, and the Dems would have won the Nevada and Arizona senate races, which presuming the same results in '14 and '16, would mean tied senate right now - so no DeVos, no Mulvaney, and some of those last-minute Obama regulations would have survived.

If Obama had been impeached and convicted, I am sure that it would have been on trumped up charges. Biden would have rallied the Dems to victory in 2016 after the shameful removal of the first black president.

If Clinton is the nominee her unfavorables and scandals would have helped Trump win the popular vote AND the Electoral College.

What charges would have gotten over a dozen Dem votes in the Senate? You need 67 to convict, and that's in the Constitution, so McConnell can't nuclear it away.
