Not sure if this is real or not, but a couple of their other articles look like they aren't satire:

Nick Saban came in 3rd
http://dailysnark.com/nick-saban-came-3rd-place-alabama-senate-election-20k-votes/

Really don't think it's real. Saban did not get 96% of the write-in vote?

Yeah, I don't think this is real. They're also working on old numbers. Jones won by about 21,000 votes. I think Atlas would know if the write in totals per person had been released (and I'm pretty sure they will be). That being said, I figure Saban is good for at least 0.5% overall.

Also a good time to point out that AL-05 (Northern Alabama) was represented by a Democrat until  2009.

Interesting. Parker Griffith was elected as a Democrat in 2008 (following Bud Cramer's (D) retirement), but switched in 2009. Griffith then lost the Republican primary in 2010 to Mo Brooks who continues to hold the seat.

I know it's a special election, but are the results ever going to be uploaded on Atlas? It would make my life a lot easier.

I don't see it on Alabama's page yet, but that would probably be the best place to check. Lots of good info about past elections, but the state by state pages seem to be kinda hidden, at least in my experience.

Can't wait to see who won the write-ins. I have a feeling that Nick Saban will beat Lee Busby.

Because of the close results, counties are being told to tabulate write-in votes. One step closer to certification.

Excellent news! I wonder if Saban will break 1%.

So much for #Sabanmentum

Strange might end up with 0.5% though.
