The Republican attacks are all over the place. The internals must be horrible for them.

Speaking of the GOP going lower...here's today's version of the infamous "Daisy" ad:

This is just retarded. I think we finally f[inksled with their heads one too many times.

The Arizona Republic, the state's largest newspaper, endorses Sinema.  This is the first time they've endorsed a Democrat running for Senate since at least 2000.  They've endorsed a Democrat for President only once in their history (since 1890): Clinton in 2016.

What do new voter registration number in Arizona indicate? (more positive Sinema or McSally?)

You should check out the AZ Data Guru twitter profile. He has tons of amazing data.

Dems led registration in most of the weeks in 2018, and also led in registrations post August primary. This is pretty crazy considering its a midterm year (in Arizona anyway) but given that we have been trending in that direction it isn’t surprising.

They also released a cartoon showing Sinema shooting down McSally's fighter plane. They're a disgrace of a "newspaper"

Yes, this indignant “HOW DARE YOU” from Republicans has been extremely annoying here. Especially since it’s so hypocritical

What's it been now? 56 years since the Daisy ads? I'm not sure what Democrats are complaining about. What next, complaining about the Forward Pass?

Ironic for a Roy Moore supporter to complain about people being stuck in the past.

McSally certainly isn't acting like a candidate who feels like she is winning this race right now.

Granted, I haven't follow AZ really closely... but McSally just comes off as not as likeable as Sinema. McSally's campaign style seems sort of negative and whiny.

And yet Trump won Arizona. Taylor Swift probably has more of an effect than a newspaper endorsement.

Newspaper endorsements certainly don't carry a lot of weight these days, but it's possible they might help sway a few decisions that could make the difference in a very close race.

I don't think newspaper endorsement do very much in general, but Arizona was one of the few states where Hillary did better than expected, so it's not really a good argument in this specific case.

Not to mention she really didn't aim for the state until the end, probably would've won the thing if she had put the resources there that she did into Ohio or NC.

State troopers have withdrawn support for Sinema after members objected. Between this and the EV #’s I have no idea why 538 and others are so bullish for the Dems here https://amp.azcentral.com/amp/1755859002?__twitter_impression=true

It's not Sinema's fault if the trooper's decided to throw a tantrum and not respect the decision of their board. And it's not like they opted to endorse McSally instead. As for the early voting, it's important to remember that in AZ-8 the numbers were very Republican yet the race was close in that special election. Besides, parsing early numbers has proven to be useless in predicting outcomes anyway.

Looking at the article, the troopers weren't mad about anything Sinema said or did, but rather that they weren't consulted on the matter before the board made the endorsement. And like Schall stated: it's not like they opted to endorse McSally instead.

That being said, this won't affect the race.

This won’t affect the race? With how reactionary Arizona conservatives are to immigrantion you don’t see this hurting?

What did the board's decision have anything to do with immigration?
