Looking at the article, the troopers weren't mad about anything Sinema said or did, but rather that they weren't consulted on the matter before the board made the endorsement. And like Schall stated: it's not like they opted to endorse McSally instead.

That being said, this won't affect the race.
This won’t affect the race? With how reactionary Arizona conservatives are to immigrantion you don’t see this hurting?

What did the board's decision have anything to do with immigration?
You really don’t see how McSally will spin this as proof Sinema is weak on the boarder and crime?

Umm no, because there's no way she can spin this as it had absolutely nothing to do with either of those issues.

Of course she can spin it that’s why they call it spin

It's pretty hard to spin since the reason for the endorsement being withdrawn is already out there and it's abundantly clear that they didn't endorse an alternative candidate. If McSally tries to spin it as her being endorsed then that is bad for her. Lying about endorsements is one thing that will definitely not help a candidate.

What % of Independents in AZ typically vote Dem? (and is that % expected to be the same in this Senate race?)

State troopers have withdrawn support for Sinema after members objected. Between this and the EV #’s I have no idea why 538 and others are so bullish for the Dems here https://amp.azcentral.com/amp/1755859002?__twitter_impression=true

were you not here for the AZ-8 early vote?

If you went off purely the EV, it looked like Lesko was winning by like 20%. She only won by 4%.

Is Sinema a shrewd enough politician compared to McSally... to find a way to pull out the win? (or is McSally the shrewd on... or neither??)

I would agree that McSally doesn't seem to be acting like she's winning, she's been kind of a mess lately. Although the entire race has seemed quieter recently since the debate. Plus, polling has been severely lacking.

That’s the one weird part. Maybe their own internal polling isn’t hot

McSally is a mess:

Sinema need to cut a blistering healthcare ad using that clip ASAP...today! (Titled "something that matters"). If done effectively, that could win the race for Sinema.

I wonder how much "lets get this thing F***ing done" is being talked about, if at all, in AZ.

Does anyone who is in Arizona know if the McSally "Can we talk about something important" (rather than healthcare) comment is getting much play.... or the "lets get this (repeal of Obamacare) done"?

Who knew that later on, she would be campaigning on the exact opposite. Lol.

Sinema wasn't the right candidate here, too much baggage like Murphy their electability was a facade and more of beating weak candidates. Would've been better off with Gallego don't think him being more liberal would've mattered since Sinema's moderate facade isn't working anyways.

You're acting like the election already happened and Sinema lost miserably. Besides, comparing her to Murphy is completely idiotic, because unlike Murphy, she's made the race competitive (she's still favored to win), and she actually knows how to fundraise. Unliked Gallego, she has the moderate voting record.

That was the dumbest comment I've read all night.

He's right that moderate heroism is a terrible campaign strategy, though. We're seeing examples over and over again.

Going by the last few pages, Sinema is either up +1 or McSally is up +10 (Because moderates suck)

Why this movement? I'm not sure, honestly. All I think is this'll be within 2 points and I think Sinema can squeak by

Atlas comments = polls Huh

This is Arizona we're talking about, right? That's how it works down here, at least for Democrats. The unapologetic progressive is getting demolished by the incumbent governor right now. It's going to be a couple years before that type of campaign will win statewide.

I don't know why but this race is giving me a 2016 Wisconsin Senate race vibe. Not 100% similar but it feels like it.

A new undercover video of Democratic Senate nominee Krysten Simena pretending to support gun rights.

Will gun voters actually vote for a Democrat if a Republican is not pro-Second Amendment or their type of voter?
