In asking this question, I am assuming that Obama is reelected and serves out two full terms.

I'd say No. He is too old and his time has passed.

No, but I think he could deflect the age issue if he decided to.

McCain couldn't deflect the age issue.

What if Obama and Biden are re-elected in 2012 and somewhere in middle of his second term Obama dies in office, thus making Biden an incumbent?

What about such possibility?

I'm trying to discuss other possibilities without making new thread and thus making moderators angry Tongue

In that case, I think Biden will run in 2016 if hillary doesn't. I'm not sure about 2020 though (assuming Biden wins in 2016).

That's what they said about Reagan and Obama.

I hope so. I'd love to run against him in 2020.

I don't think you're going to be getting anywhere anytime soon.

He wouldn't necessarily be too old (Reagan got reelected at age 73), but odds are he won't run.

Which Democrats do you think will run in 2016?

And Reagan wasn't (in 1984)? At least Biden isn't senile.

Well, Reagan wasn't really senile until after he left/near the end of his term.

That's debatable.
