I really don’t care about marijuana but “the bill didn’t even pass so who cares how he voted?” is such sh**tty hand wringing.

This might be an interesting primary. PA primaries are really regional, and with two strong SW PA candidates, I wonder if that gives someone from SE PA the opportunity slip by.

The way I see it, if Parnell is the nominee, Dems can lose every competitive race next year and still win PA.

If these results are even remotely accurate, Fetterman is in a really good position this late in the game.
It was a SMS text to web poll. Not to be taken seriously at all.

A poll for a statewide primary 3+ months out is pretty worthless regardless of methodology. Better to just look at fundraising, COH and where money is being spent at this point.

This was the ad that I posted the Politifact about. Honestly, other than it being actual false information, the ad is comical more than anything, since you hear them say "Fetterman wants to release 1/3 of prisoners" and it sounds so ridiculous you know that it's either a false quote or taken wildly out of context (which it is)

Is that something that normally happens? (A campaign asks stations to pull an ad for being grossly misleading)?

Yes, campaigns sometimes ask, but broadcasters usually always keep the ads up because there's no law or anything against lies in political TV ads. Plus the TV stations already got the money anyway. That's usually why campaigns reply with their own ads saying "you might have heard these misleading ads" etc etc.

Imagine eating broccoli and carrots with tomato salsa...yuck!

I’d probably try it.

What is even Oz's message? What would he say when someone asks him "why are you running for the Senate?" Maybe he should start there and try not to put his foot in his mouth every time he talks.

Oz has attempted to hit Fetterman on crime, but he also clowned himself by focusing on the whole "Fetterman wants to release 1/3 of prisoners!" thing.
They indeed border self-parody. Consider them dog-whistling towards the bitter people clinging to guns and religion.

Oh this isn't how averages work.

Not sure what's funnier, the "*confused gibberish*" or the RNC acting like that plant is just a regular "voter".

Erm, ok, I know the average American swing voter is an idiot, but I don’t think anyone ever thinks “I was going to vote for Fetterman, but he won’t debate, so I’ll now be voting for Oz.”

Susan Collins also has a mild speech impediment, so like, what? The Republican campaign in Pennsylvania this year has so far just been "f people with health issues/disorders."

Ok, a conversation about incest and cousins isn’t really relevant here.

How is no one else worried about Fetterman? He clearly has something wrong - and aside from obvious concern about him. It could cost Dems this seat

Omg Feterman is dying

If this is real and the major news outlets pick up on it, that would be very, very bad for Oz.

It's difficult to even respond to this because it would cause more people to dig into it. "I didn't kill those puppies." Then the MSM digs into it, and then you have "Oz didn't kill hundreds of puppies but the team he oversaw did" all over the news.

Got my ballot yesterday and voted for Shapiro and Fetterman.

The correct choices.

Tossup -> Lean D

One of the worst, most out of touch Senate Republican candidate in recent memory.

Lol remember how some conservatives wet saying he was a puppet candidate for his wife
His medical condition means that he is really likely to die before he finishes his first term, I  read that average life expectancy is 2 years (Senators though get better healthcare), so it's all about who will the Governor appoint.

I doubt his replacement will have his working class charisma.

Yeah, Fetterman won't be dying before his term ends, come on.
