It's a biblical commandment regarding the tribe of Amalek (Exodus 17:8-17:16, Deuteronomy 25:17-25:19).  We are supposed to destroy Amalek, and make blot out their name.

Opebo, are you saying that, if installed as absolute ruler of a country, you'd turn into a self-aggrandizing militaristic genocidal maniac?  Somehow I don't see you as having the drive Hitler had.  I see you more as a Yeltsin.

Perhaps.  Depends on a lot of factors. 

I guess my point is just that it is the system, not hitler, that killed those jews, and still kills millions today.
