You are a bit outdated mate, that law was changed during the constitutional reform in 1994. As far as i know, since then, being catholic isn't a requirement for being president.

Israel really isn't that right-wing. There are gay rights,  some meaningful abortion rights and stem cell research. They are more neo-conservative than actually right-wing.

Argentinians seem awfully critical of the U.S. and are quick to blame the U.S. for economic problems. That's basically what we read in my Latin American politics class.
