I don’t understand what Cameron was thinking running for Governor this year. Why risk your rising star on the most difficult race of the ones at his disposal? He would have easily won Senate in 2026 or Governor in 2027 if he waited.
I think McConnell asked him to, he's become notorious for bad politics.
