Cornel West called Obama the N-word, "the blackface of the American Empire", and compared him to George Zimmerman, among other things. He'd certainly be welcome in West Virginia (if not for the insult to Zimmerman), but the DNC?!

Shouldn't Sanders have one more to even it out?

Sure! And let's give Lincoln Chafee and Larry Lessig picks too!

I'd unironically support giving Lincoln Chafee a pick. He earned it for providing so much lulz.

What do you want? For me to leave the party?

go right ahead, bud. no self-respecting non-fascist party wants george wallace fetishists like you.

This is the "party of diversity and inclusiveness" everyone!

Now you see why my state went from solid D to solid R. Ever since Bill Clinton the Democratic Party has become an anti-white hate group that wants to expel anyone who doesn't tow the line and dares to express an independent thought. Your alienation of white working class blue collar coal mining Reagan Democrats will be your undoing in November.

I welcome Santander over to our side. Smiley

My response was in reference to all your posts over the past month or so, including, but not limited to, the one I quoted. You have been threatening to do exactly that (leave the party/vote Trump) in almost every post you make. I just don't know what you're trying to accomplish here. To express your dissatisfaction with the direction the Democratic Party is going? Because most of us are reasonably happy with the current Democratic platform... so you're not going to get very far with that. Whether you choose to leave the party, or stick with it, that's your prerogative. I'm certainly not in a position to tell you what party to identify with. I'm just saying you've repeated your spiel time and time again, and I don't understand what you're trying to accomplish.
You mean most of the liberals here are happy with the D platform. Self-identified moderates and conservatives still outnumber liberals in the Democratic Party, and America is a center-right country. Sanders owes just as much to cultural conservatives as he does to liberals and socialists for his success in the primaries, and it is a mistake for the Democratic Party to move in the direction it is moving in because they are painting themselves into a corner.

I don't know if you saw the exit polls for almost all of the primaries/caucuses this year, but Liberals now outnumber Moderates/Conservatives in almost all states. In many places by a lot. Examples of Liberal vs Moderates/Conservatives from some notable primaries:

Florida: 54-46
Indiana: 68-29
Iowa: 68-32
Michigan: 57-43
Mississippi: 51-49
Missouri: 66-34
Nevada: 70-30
New Hampshire: 68-32
North Carolina: 56-44
Ohio: 59-41
Pennsylvania:66-34
Tennessee: 61-32
Texas: 59-41
Virginia: 68-32
Wisconsin: 67-32

Only three examples with exit polling where this wasn't the case:

Arkansas: 50-50
Oklahoma: 45-55
West Virginia 45-55

It's pretty funny Bernie won the only two that have a moderate/conservative majority.

Might as well just rename themselves the Communist Party. Glad I joined a party that at least talks about real issues, like fighting terror and reducing illegal immigration.
