Anybody who says they are Christian is a Christian as far as I'm concerned.

Christian - 1 a: one who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ. Pretty simple.

I believe in his teachings. Does that make me a Christian?

I doubt that you believe that accepting Christ is necessary for salvation, which was one of Jesus' "teachings," per the NT at least

But I don't accept the NT as documentation of his teachings.
