Opinion of bumping threads from a long time ago

Some threads are worth bumping just because they are so awesome, like if it's a good collection of maps.  Other threads need to rest in peace.

I enjoy it as long as it's not overdone.  Like the same person shouldn't be bumping 10 old prediction threads, but it can be fun every now-and-then to see how an old thread aged.

Depends on the reason.

If a ten year old news story suddenly becomes relevant again, it might be worth bumping the old thread rather than creating a new one.
