Damn, and I thought Bill Gates controls all of that. He just single-handedly destroyed my worldview.

BTW Cochise is gonna miss the legal deadline for certification of results. The GOP activists pushing this don't understand that if they get their case in the red counties, but the blue counties still do their thing, then Dems legally win even more, do they?

What really angers me in this whole mess is how these Republican grifters are knowingly spreading false information. They are spreading misinformation which can easily debunked by anyone who is remotely familiar with the AZ election process but they don't care and the base eats up without even checking basic stuff.

Just look at this comments under this grifter's tweet...

The AZ GOP is in a perpetual state of self destruct. If they keep this up, Arizona will be a reliably Democratic state by the end of the decade. Voters don't have the appetite for this bullsh*t.

Could Hoffman and Engel actually win if Cochise county refuses to certify?

Yes.

I don't know why Hobbs is trying to force Cochise County to certify its results.

It's a win for Democrats if votes from Cochise County aren't counted.

She's probably trying to avoid anymore accusations of "rigging" the election in favor of her and the Democrats.

Democrats should call Hobbs and tell her to drop the lawsuit.

When Republicans are hanging themselves, don't intervene.

Perhaps Hobbs’s first duty is to the laws of Arizona and the oath she swore. Ever think of that?

For the good of democracy, Cochise county should certify. But for the good of the nation, they should not.

I should not be cheering for an entire county to refuse to partake in democracy. And I'm not cheering for it, either.

But if they don't, and it ends up digging the GOP deeper, I'm going to laugh and laugh and laugh...

No no no no no!!!! Would you like it if an R-controlled county that happened to vote D, refused to certify? No? I thought not.

This would set a precedent tor governments to do what Trump wanted the R legislatures of Georgia and Arizona to do in 2020! It’s putting your political preferences above the rule of law. Anyone who believes in the rule cannot with integrity want this county to not certify. To want it to happen for political benefit makes you no better than a Trumpist in this regard.

This.

Some court will compel them to certify, right?

Yes, it’s virtually certain.

Exactly.

Utterly disheartening to see a bunch of red avatars suddenly not give a sh*t about democracy when it's about owning the Pubs. In addition to being immoral, it's grossly shortsighted.

I never said that Democrats should go do something that is "immoral", but if Republicans want to hang themselves, Democrats need not stop them.

Ensuring the proper conduct of elections is literally Hobbs' job description. If she failed to take any available action to have an accurate vote count certified, it would be a dereliction of duty.
