It was a very tough choice between Cascadia and the Northeast, but I had to choose Cascadia.

I went with Southern California, even though I currently live in and was born in the Northern California region, Tongue

Piedmont Atlantic is life!

NorCal is useless if you leave The East Bay. Too gentrified and busy westward and down to San Jose, too boring up in SacTown, and too depressing in the rest of the Central Valley. Oh, and all of it too expensive and with crappy roads!

Piedmont Atlantic

Birmingham > Atlanta > Memphis > RDU > Nashville > Charlotte

Although the Megaregion paradigm is kinda bunked.  Its being peddled by think tanks and lobbyists pushing for intra-regional transportation/infrastructure projects, but the actual methodology behind it doesn't even take into consideration basic measures of economic connectivity/dependence.
