So it seems like the Federalist primary is shaping up to be the real nomination contest. Interesting.

At this stage Duke might have an even bigger landslide than October if he wins the primary. If Reaganfan wins, though, then things will get unpredictable...

Indeed. I feel as though Duke is a qualified moderate who won't draw much opposition - maybe a CMPA or JCL-esque challenge to either flank, but nothing that'll attract major opposition. If Reaganfan wins, that's when we start getting major Labor names (SirNick's been floated), and other names (a D-R candidate, someone mentioned Superique, maybe an indie) getting thrown in.

Reaganfan leads 13-9 (as of NHI's vote) with 44% in.

How's the Mideast Senate primary looking?

Ignoring the high level of abstentions, 10-8-1 DC al Fine-JCL-Cathcon (the Cathcon vote flows to JCL).

Wow. No wonder Duke is barely winning. Has JCL ever done this well in a primary election?

Not that I'm aware of, but the JCL-DC al Fine breakdown is not any indicator of the general primary.

Duke-JCL: 5
Duke-DC al Fine: 6
Reaganfan-JCL: 4
Reaganfan-DC al Fine: 4

One additional DC vote from Jerry, who abstained in the Presidential primary.
