Yes, but we should have expected it.  Bush supported reauthorizing the assault weapons ban.  He nominated Alberto Gonzales as Attorney General.  He supports increases in Medicaid spending.

What does opposing medicaid spending, being against gun control and oposing Gonzales have to do with theocracy?
